Take a Dip in the Pool

On Bald Head Island you’ll find pools at both the Bald Head Island Club and the Shoals Club.

At the Shoals Club, a lap pool overlooks a shallow children’s pool and fountain area. Poolside food and beverage service is available from the Sandbar Grille. Towels, showers, changing areas and restrooms are provided. The Shoals Club staff offers water aerobics, water Zumba and parent/tot swimming lessons. The Shoals Club pools are open to members, guests and temporary members only. The pools are closed November through March, and hours vary by season.

The Bald Head Island Club’s incredible aquatics complex includes a heated 25-meter adults-only lap pool and a zero-entry family pool, along with waterslides, a splash pad and playground. There's a poolside snack bar, a gazebo bar, and a full service restaurant, Horizons, offering lunch and dinner year round. Bald Head Island Club full or temporary membership is required to use the facility. The pool is open from April to October.
