Easter Weekend 2025 on Bald Head Island

As Easter weekend approaches in 2025, families seeking a unique coastal getaway should look no further than Bald Head Island, North Carolina. Because this car-free island is accessible only by passenger ferry or private boat, its slower pace encourages families to be fully present with one another, creating Easter memories that will endure long after the ferry ride home.
Spring Weather at Its Finest
By early April, Bald Head Island typically enjoys mild temperatures in the 60 to 70-degree range, making it ideal for outdoor activities without the summer crowds or humidity. This perfect weather window allows for comfortable beach strolls, bike rides and creek paddles.
