Labor Day Weekend Fun on Bald Head Island

Labor Day marks the end of summer. It’s our last chance for backyard barbeques and lazy beach days before fall. It’s also the perfect time to book that last minute summer vacation and celebrate the end of the season on Bald Head Island. Here are some of our favorite ways to celebrate the end of summer.

Explore the wonderful outdoors with activities planned throughout the Labor Day Weekend. From relaxing kayak trips through the creeks to sunset walks along the beach, there’s so much beauty to take in on Bald Head Island. Spend the last days of summer on the beach with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Then off to the pool for a Labor Day celebration like no other!

Shoals Club Annual Labor Day Pool Party happens on September 5th. Enjoy great food, drinks, and live music. This will be from 12pm-6pm. It’s one of our favorite end of summer annual events! 

One of our favorite ways to celebrate summer is an old-fashion backyard barbecue in a Bald Head Island Vacation Rental. Family and friends hanging out on the wrap around porch eating and sipping on summer cocktails along with an amazing view. Try these patriotic red, white and blue drinks to add some fun to the party!
