Celebrate the 4th of July on Bald Head Island

Summer is here and it is time to take a well-deserved break. Bald Head Island is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and have some fun. Why not plan a trip to the island on the 4^th of July! Even though many annual July 4^th events have been put on hold, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate on the island. Here are some of our favorite ways to celebrate the 4^th.

Celebrate the 4^th of July on the beautiful beaches of Bald Head Island. The sun is shining in July, making it perfect weather to spend the day on the beach and take a dip in the Atlantic. One of Bald Head Island’s most beloved holiday events is the 4^th of July Golf Cart Parade! Dress your cart up in one of the following categories: Patriotic, Tacky Tourist and Anything Bald Head Island. The line-up begins at 9:00am at the Marina Harbor Park with the parade starting at 10:00am. Join in the fun as a participant or observer at this favorite July 4^th event!

What better way to celebrate the 4^th of July then an old fashion backyard barbecue! Light up the grill at your beachfront Bald Head Island vacation rental. Make it festive with red, white, and blue paper products and décor. Enjoy family, friends, delicious food, and incredible views on the wrap around porch.
