A backyard barbecue on the 4th of July is all about family, friends and delicious food. Classic red, white and blue décor will add a little tradition to the celebration. Don’t forget the sparklers! They will be the highlight to the evening especially with the kids.

An afternoon full of summer fun, relaxing by the beach or pool and enjoying a laid-back afternoon with the ones you love. Now that’s what it’s all about! This is a day you want to enjoy so delegate task and keep the menu simple, so you can live in the moment and not in the kitchen!
Keep it American
The menu should feature all American cuisine such as burgers, hot dogs and barbeque ribs. Potato salad and corn on the cob are American backyard barbecue staples. Don’t forget the apple pie and ice cream! Here’s one of our favorite 4th of July recipes. To die for burgers: Preheat grill for high heat. Mix together 1 pound of ground beef, ½ cup of minced onion and 2 garlic cloves pressed. Form into patties and sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Grill patties for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Place hamburger patties on an onion roll and top with red onion, lots of roasted red peppers and avocado slices.
