The Pirate Invasion on Bald Head Island

“Ahoy, matey! Me ship has set sail to take over the island!” The Pirate Invasion returns to Bald Head Island June 23-25, 2017, for a weekend full of freebooter fun. All hands on deck for this exciting schedule of events. 

On Friday, June 23rd, visit the Pirates at Beach Access #5 as they attempt to take over the island in a sea battle. Party with the Pirates at 6:30pm in front of Delphina’s Cantina with live music and dancing. At 8:30pm join the ghost walk if you dare and hear the tails of the haunted island!

On Saturday, June 24th, children can enroll in the School of the sailor. They will learn to walk, talk and act like a pirate. The whole family can join in the treasure hunt where crews compete in an exciting search for Pirate booty. Enjoy a buffet lunch that will have you dinning like a Buccaneer! The Shoal’s Club throws a Pirate Invasion Party Saturday evening for members and guests. 

On Sunday, June 25th, the weekend finishes with a pancake breakfast with the Pirates at Mojo’s. Whether you’re an Old Salt or a Landlubber, you’ll love the entertainment that the Pirates add to the island! Visit Bald Head Island during the Pirate Invasion and you’ll be saying “YO HO HO” throughout the weekend!
