Good Times and Great Food for the End of Summer

We all want to make the most of our summer and there is still time for fun on Bald Head Island. While visiting the beautiful island, you likely take advantage of all the different avenues to enjoy the unique scenery. From surfing and paddleboarding to hiking and biking, there’s plenty to do to relax and enjoy the stunning views. At the end of the day, you return to your Bald Head Island vacation rental and it’s time to decide what’s for dinner. We have put together a video about Cooking on Bald Head Island with step-by-step instructions for the popular Beaufort Stew recipe. This dish is perfect for serving up local shrimp and was filmed in the lovely Bella Vista home. This is the first of a BHI cooking video series to give you some of our favorite meals to cook. 

For more inspiration, don’t forget the annual Roast and Toast on the Coast which will be held October 7th-9th. The three-day event will be co-hosted with Southern Living magazine and include great music, wine, beer, cocktails and the best of Southern food.
