Golf at One of NC’s Best Rounds of Golf

Baldheadgolf 9 9cb final

Golfweek Magazine has discovered something we’ve known for a long time: a round of golf at the Bald Head Island Club is one of the best in North Carolina. In their Courses You Can Play, 2014 list, Golfweek gives duffers a state-by-state guide of the top courses, and here in North Carolina, four coastal courses appear: the Bald Head Island Club here on Bald Head Island, Leopard’s Chase and Tiger’s Eye at Ocean Ridge in nearby Sunset Beach, and Wilmington’s Cape Fear National Golf Club.

We may be a little biased, but we think the Bald Head Island Club is hard to beat. Whether you’re on the green in the silent gaze of Old Baldy, looking out at the ocean from a bluff-top tee box, or driving down a fairway guarded by the maritime forest, golfing on Bald Head Island is as beautiful as it is challenging.

On your next visit to Bald Head Island, be sure to reserve a tee time at the Bald Head Island Club and play a round at one of the best the state has to offer. Contact the Bald Head Island Club Golf Shop at 910.457.7310 for more information on the course and to book your round.
