Vacation Rental Managers Association

Bald Head Island Limited Property Management employees took part in the Vacation Rental Managers Association annual conference in San Diego, CA this week. Toni Henry, Broker-in-charge and Trisha Howarth, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Director, were two of 1,000 attendees. Leading executives in the vacation management industry field came together to share trends, management tips, training and forecasts.  Information sessions ranged from human resource and maintenance to marketing and sales. The conference provided an opportunity to develop a variety of ideas and methods for providing top quality property management services.

The Vacation Rental Managers Association is the voice of the professionally managed vacation rental industry. The association works as an advocacy for the industry in promoting a voice in government regulations and is a major contributor to state lobby coalitions. Toni Henry serves on the N.C. Travel Coalition Board as the president of the N.C. chapter of VRMA. Along with the strong advocacy programs VRMA provides their marketing strategies include press trips and recently the launch of a TV series based on the advantage of renting a vacation home, Getting Away Together.
