Shoals Club Labor Day Membership Party a Hit

1392 B

The Shoals Club is always a special spot, but it has never been more beautiful than at the recent Annual Members’ Labor Day Party. Chinese lanterns, twinkle lights, hanging ferns, wrought iron chandeliers, and centerpieces of mint julep cups, cotton and magnolias, created a true Southern ambience.

Members and their guests were treated to a bounty of culinary treats representing the low country, the bayou, and Bald Head Island favorites – from shrimp and grits, to crawfish, to tenderloin and crabcakes – something for everyone’s palate. Not to mention the key lime tarts, pecan pie, beignets and cupcakes.

Perennial Shoals Club favorite Craig Woolard and his band played beach music classics, as well as a little Cee Lo Green and Adele well into the night to the delight of shaggers, strutters and slow dancers alike. It might have been a hot southern night, but more than that, it was a magical southern night!
